Miro survey: AI speeds individual output but decisions and collaboration lag

DecisionsMiroAlan Berrey

Miro, a collaboration software company, says its survey of more than 9,500 leaders and workers found that 83 percent believe AI improved their individual productivity and 73 percent say output is faster, but only 56 percent say quality improved. Miro reports 52 percent say AI has not improved decision-making and 60 percent say it has not improved collaboration, and 55 percent report more poor-quality AI output needing rework. The figures are self-reported and come from Miro’s own press release.

Alan's take83 percent say AI makes them more productive. 52 percent say it hasn’t improved decision-making. That is the gap between doing things faster and doing the right things. Until AI moves out of private chat windows and into shared work, companies will just produce the wrong output more quickly.
