65,536 network addresses the agents allegedly scanned, twice

Primcloud founder Josh Manders alleged on November 3 that AI agents run by Jake Runzer, an engineer at rival Railway, tried to break into Primcloud’s systems. He says the agents used credentials from their own containers to request every customer and employee secret, guessed internal service names, and twice scanned 65,536 addresses, about 24 commands in 15 minutes that he called “done on purpose and scripted.” Every attempt was blocked. Runzer said he was running agents for sign-up testing and halted a harness that was “reaching too far.” Railway CEO Jake Cooper apologized and said non-manual external testing would be banned. No logs are public.

definitely going off the rails and reaching too far

Alan's takeDude, if your agent is scanning your competitor’s network and trying to pull its customers' secrets, somebody aimed it there. Maybe the agent improvised the details, but it did not pick the target. Nah, I don’t buy that it 'went off the rails.'
