Apple reportedly cuts some engineers' daily AI spending cap from $300 to $200

Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman reports that Apple cut the daily AI spending cap for some engineers from $300 to $200 and plans to go as low as $100, as cost cutting stokes staff fears of layoffs. Apple has not commented. The report does not say how many engineers are affected, which tools the cap covers, or whether the $100 level will take effect.
